The robotics teams of the ‘Liviu Rebreanu’ and ‘Andrei Mureșanu’ National Colleges in Bistrița achieved remarkable results during the regional stage of the FIRST Tech Challenge Romania, held on February 21–22 at Teraplast Arena, thus qualifying for the national stage of one of the most important STEM competitions in the country, supported by Nație prin Educație.
ROMBAT stood alongside these young technology enthusiasts, offering them support and encouragement throughout the competition. Moreover, our colleagues were part of the judging team for the regional stage. We will continue to support them at the national stage as well, convinced that investing in technical education is the foundation of a strong and innovative industry. The students’ achievements confirm the rising level of education in our community and demonstrate the real potential of the new generation of engineers, programmers, and innovators. The involvement of our colleagues reflects the responsibility we hold as an industrial manufacturer: to actively contribute to shaping future generations of engineers, programmers, and innovators. We believe that performance is built through rigor, mentorship, exposure to real professional standards, and a strong connection between education and industry. The energy of the future begins with the education of today, and the success of these young people shows that Bistrița has the resources and ambition to become a hub of technological innovation.Congratulations to all teams and best of luck at the Nationals!
